RESPONSE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC

As we continue to navigate through the unique challenges posed by COVID-19, we are sharing the update on how North Saucon Animal Hospital is responding.  The safety and health of our clients, staff and community continue to be our number one priority.  In accordance with the recommendation of our state veterinarian and other state officials, we will be implementing an abbreviated schedule effective immediately.  

We will be open and available from 8:30am to 1:00pm Monday & Friday, and 8:30am to 4:00pm Tuesday through Thursday for phone calls, medication pick-ups and sick appointments only.

We are operating all appointments through a “vehicle side check-in” procedure in order to maintain the social distancing recommendations of the CDC and state authorities.  We ask that all communication between our staff and our clients should occur via phone.  If you are not feeling well or are sick, please do not bring your pet to our office; instead, have another person bring your pet to our office for their appointment.  For the safety of your pet, please be sure your pet is on a leash or in a carrier.

When you arrive for your appointment:

  • Please call our office at 610-867-0800 to check in.  You will relay your pet’s condition and history via phone to a staff member before your pet comes into the hospital.
  • A staff member will come to your car to take your pet inside for their appointment with the doctor.
  • Once the doctor completes their physical exam of your pet, they will call you with their findings and recommendations.
  • A staff member will bring your pet out to your car, along with any medication they will need. Payment can be taken over the phone via credit card.

Please be assured that we are taking every precaution to minimize any contamination with COVID-19 through frequent disinfecting of our facility.

Regarding medication and prescription food refills, please consider using our on-line pharmacy and store.  

Currently, we are rescheduling non-urgent appointments 2-4 weeks out, and will continue to confirm existing appointments the day before.  We apologize for any inconvenience this creates, and appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this difficult time.
